“The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao; The name that can be named is not the eternal name. The nameless is the beginning of heaven and earth. The named is the mother of ten thousand things.” Lao Tzu – Tao Te Ching
The more I compartmentalize my artwork with names and definitions of what it is I do then less real it is. The reality of the artwork then takes place inside the viewer. If fact there is no artwork outside the viewers mind.
Creativity itself can take any form, any solution to a problem, every expression of the heart. I place my attention on the source of the creativity itself and the manifestation of that is a natural refining of the subtle energy inside it.
The artist is inside each one of us if we have the sufficient awareness to first recognize, then appreciate the beauty of each piece of art. The artwork is an anchor point to the inner being. The purpose and meaning then to reach the interconnectedness of the viewers.
